VT Economic Services for general assistance, to apply for Food Programs, help with Child Care, WIC, Reach-up, Essential Person, Fuel Assistance. https://dcf.vermont.gov/esd 1-800-479-6151 toll free to ask questions about benefits, get a paper application, access information about your case and report changes that may affect your eligibility. Speak to a call center agent during business hours: Monday to Thursday, from 8:00AM to 6:00PM and Friday, from 8:00am to 4:15pm. Call center agents may not be available from 9-10AM on some Fridays due to staff meetings, Use their automated system outside of business hours, on weekends and on state holidays. If you're deaf or hard of hearing: Dial 7-1-1 to reach the Vermont Relay Service (VRS). Ask the operator to call 1-800-479-6151. Stay on the line and a call center agent will help.
